ELCA
   Church History

A storied cathedral we are not . . . But a friendly and welcoming house of worship we are and have been for more than half a century (fifty-four years to be exact).

Our newly adopted purpose statement reads "God's neighborhood corner church shares the love of Christ through service to the community" and while the center of our attention and activity is our corner in St. Clair Shores, our membership roster stretches from Grosse Pointe Woods to New Baltimore.

In our focus on ministry in our neighborhood and St. Clair Shores, we are supported by our guiding principles:

   •  Pray and study together
   •  Spread the word of Jesus Christ
   •  Give generously to those in need
   •  All people are equal in the eyes of God
   •  Love one another as Jesus Christ loves us

If you are looking for thoughtful worship, lively Bible study, warm fellowship, a congregation reaching out beyond its doors, come visit us!

  Faithfully yours,

Sharon L. Janot
Interim Pastor
